You’ve kept us all so busy the past two months, I had to combine your 8th & 9th month updates. You continue to be a happy, spirited baby with a very pleasant disposition. You can stand, pull up on things, and love to climb if we let you. Your favorite activities include tearing up paper, trying to pull baby wipes apart, and flopping on pillows. You can say “mama” and “dada” and often try to wave at us. You are super-affectionate and love to rest your head on our shoulders or hug on Finn. You love to clap and bounce when you hear music.
Here are a few other things you’ve been up to.
You love to eat at restaurants and people watch. You can now eat a little bit of table food and prefer that to baby food.
You like to practice driving when we make stops during road trips.
You get very excited over balloons and rubber balls. Also, as seen here, cameras pointed at you.
You love to be outside, especially with Finn.
You love to rest your head on pillows. Sometimes you say “Ahhh”
Your tongue is often out because you’re still cutting your top two teeth.
You wake very easily if we try to put you in the crib, but will often fall asleep on the boppy and rest there a bit. Finn decided to join you here.
Your favorite baby food is baby yogurt, blueberry flavor. You also like banana puffs.
You’re quick to grin and always have a little twinkle in your eye.
You haven’t cared a thing for a pacifier until you started this round of teething. Now it’s your constant companion. (So far, only two teeth on the bottom)
You love to sit in a chair like a big girl.
Aunt Coco got you this cute tutu and kitty shirt, which you obviously rock!
You often crinkle up your nose at us because you know we can’t resist such a cute face.
You continue to develop into a fun-loving, high-energy little girl and we have so much fun playing with you and trying to make you laugh.
We love you sweet Lyddie!
