How on Earth is it Possible?

Falling in love with God that is…

If you’re back for day two of me hijacking Allison’s blog, welcome! Click here if you need to catch up.

Yesterday, I mentioned hearing God invite me to fall in love with Him. Unfortunately, falling in love with Him loomed in front of me like a distant, unachievable dream. Where would I even begin? It’s not like we could speed date. Too bad. I had a list of questions a mile long for Him. Actually, it was more like a list of fears. Some silly, some legitimate.

“The more you discover about Me, the more you’ll realize that I am not the sum of all those fears. But first, you must—you simply must—stop trying to love Me on your own terms.” He shakes His head sadly. “It will never work.”

Let Me Fall, pg. 48

Turns out, that was a really good place to start…

Check back in tomorrow to see how to choose the right outfit when posing for a book cover…just in case you ever need to know.

Also, don’t forget to leave Beth a lovely comment, share this post on Facebook and/or twitter, and let us know that you shared to get a chance to win a copy of Let Me Fall! {a $1 million-trillion-fo-fillion dollar value (according to Allison)}

Happy Tuesday!

    Let the mornings bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.
