Sometimes it’s good to just get away from it all. We spent this past weekend visiting Ryan’s sister and her family in Lancaster, PA. Ryan and I both love to travel and really enjoy this part of the country in general, but it’s so much more fun when you can spend some time with family too.
The plane ride to PA gave me time to catch up on this month's Budget Maven Book Club selection. Loving this book so far!
Amish Buggy Parking outside of Target.
I wonder if they love the dollar section at Target as much as I do.
I love all the old barns!
Made a stop in...you guessed it. Hershey!
Delicious Smokehouse burger from The Chocolate Avenue Grill in Hershey, PA for lunch.
Found this vintage calorie counter at an antique store after lunch. Perhaps I should have found this before I had the burger.
Vacation Splurge: Earrings made from broken vintage China. Can't wait to wear these!
Loved this vintage carnival toy too, but that price is not in our budget.
Caught a glimpse of spring once we made it back to NC.
Back in NC, stopped for dinner at Midwood Smokehouse: Smoked BBQ sandwich, hush puppies, and sweet tea. Peanut butter cup for dessert. Mmm...
